The first Cookies was in a dark, cosy cellar of a hidden backhouse and we specialised in cocktails. We played the same three CDs on rotation every night until finally after six months our first DJ, Ben Klock, started playing regularly on Tuesdays. You could fit this first space into the current club, 22 times over.
